Av\u0161ak jazdn\u00e9 vlastnosti i30 nedosahovali kval\u00edt t\u00fdchto konkurentov, preto\u017ee ne\u0161lo iba o technick\u00e9 rie\u0161enie, ale aj o ladenie jazdy, \u010do vtedaj\u0161\u00edm K\u00f3rejcom e\u0161te trochu ch\u00fdbalo. Napriek tomu model i30 jazdil sol\u00eddne a bol ur\u010dite lep\u0161\u00ed ako franc\u00fazska konkurencia. Ide o mal\u00fd diel v tvare hviezdy, ktor\u00fd je k dispoz\u00edcii ako n\u00e1hradn\u00fd diel pod katal\u00f3gov\u00fdm \u010d\u00edslom 563152k000FFF. Probl\u00e9my s posil\u0148ova\u010dom riadenia sa vyskytovali u prvej gener\u00e1cie, ale u druhej gener\u00e1cie u\u017e nie s\u00fa. Navy\u0161e sa mohol objavi\u0165 defekt na brzdovom sp\u00edna\u010di, ktor\u00fd v\u00fdrobca vymie\u0148a v r\u00e1mci tzv. gulancie. Pri prechode na normu Euro 6 sa v n\u00e1zve objavil pr\u00eddomok \u201eBlue\u201c. Hlavnou v\u00fdhodou t\u00fdchto motorov je nepriame vstrekovanie, v\u010faka \u010domu sa im dar\u00ed vyhn\u00fa\u0165 sa karboniz\u00e1cii. \u0160tvorvalcov\u00e9 motory radu Gamma sa v druhej gener\u00e1cii i30 p\u00fd\u0161ia odolnou rozvodovou re\u0165azou (v prvej gener\u00e1cii s \u0148ou ob\u010das boli probl\u00e9my), av\u0161ak nie s\u00fa \u00faplne bezchybn\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Najm\u00e4 pri vozidl\u00e1ch vyroben\u00fdch na za\u010diatku produkcie sa m\u00f4\u017eu objavi\u0165 probl\u00e9my s rozpadaj\u00facim sa jadrom \u0161tartovacieho katalyz\u00e1tora. Jeho \u00falomky m\u00f4\u017eu by\u0165 motorom nasat\u00e9 sp\u00e4\u0165 cez recirkul\u00e1ciu spal\u00edn a sp\u00f4sobi\u0165 po\u0161kodenie pohonnej jednotky (napr\u00edklad naru\u0161enie klznej vrstvy valcov, vod\u00edtok ventilov, presuvn\u00edka variabiln\u00e9ho \u010dasovania at\u010f.). V tejto gener\u00e1cii sa jedn\u00e1 o r\u00e1dovo jednotky kusov a probl\u00e9m sa \u010dasto prejavuje pri pou\u017eit\u00ed menej kvalitn\u00e9ho paliva a hlavne pri \u010dast\u00fdch jazd\u00e1ch v n\u00edzkych ot\u00e1\u010dkach. Av\u0161ak maj\u00fa probl\u00e9my s usadeninami z karb\u00f3nu, hlavne ke\u010f s\u00fa pou\u017e\u00edvan\u00e9 na kr\u00e1tke vzdialenosti. Rovnako tu plat\u00ed, \u017ee kr\u00e1tke jazdy m\u00f4\u017eu vies\u0165 k r\u00fdchlej\u0161iemu opotrebovaniu motorov\u00e9ho oleja. T\u00fdm, ktor\u00ed preva\u017ene jazdia po meste, bude \u0165a\u017ek\u00e9 splni\u0165 tieto podmienky.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1.6 GDI\/T-GDI\/99\/137 kW: Atmosf\u00e9rick\u00e1 verzia priameho vstrekovania tis\u00edc\u0161es\u0165stovky neposkytuje u\u017e\u00edvate\u013eom z\u00e1sadn\u00e9 v\u00fdhody (v porovnan\u00ed s jednoduch\u0161ou verziou motora bez priameho vstreku), zatia\u013e \u010do turbod\u00fachadlov\u00e1 varianta pon\u00fakne ove\u013ea lep\u0161\u00ed v\u00fdkon. Av\u0161ak nie je \u00faplne \u00fasporn\u00e1 a st\u00e1le tu existuje probl\u00e9m s karbonovan\u00edm a zhor\u0161en\u00fdm mazan\u00edm pri kr\u00e1tkych jazd\u00e1ch. Pri vo\u013ebe priameho vstrekovania by sme dali prednos\u0165 T-GDI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1.4\/1.6 MPi (CVVT)\/Blue\/73\/88 kW: Tieto atmosf\u00e9rick\u00e9 motory s nepriamym vstrekovan\u00edm poch\u00e1dzaj\u00fa zo star\u0161ej gener\u00e1cie. Na dosiahnutie lep\u0161ieho v\u00fdkonu s\u00fa potrebn\u00e9 vy\u0161\u0161ie ot\u00e1\u010dky, obzvl\u00e1\u0161\u0165 pri men\u0161om motore. Na druh\u00fa stranu je v\u00fdhodou \u0161es\u0165stup\u0148ov\u00e1 prevodovka pri oboch motoroch, pri\u010dom v\u00e4\u010d\u0161\u00ed motor mohol ma\u0165 aj automatick\u00fd variant. Pri nov\u0161\u00edch verzi\u00e1ch by u\u017e nemali nasta\u0165 probl\u00e9my s katalyz\u00e1torom, ktor\u00fd sa rozpad\u00e1.
