Hlavn\u00ed v\u00fdhodou t\u011bchto motor\u016f je nep\u0159\u00edm\u00e9 vst\u0159ikov\u00e1n\u00ed, d\u00edky \u010demu\u017e se jim da\u0159\u00ed vyhnout se karbonizaci. \u010cty\u0159v\u00e1lcov\u00e9 motory \u0159ady Gamma se v druh\u00e9 generaci i30 py\u0161n\u00ed odoln\u00fdm rozvodov\u00fdm \u0159et\u011bzem (v prvn\u00ed generaci s n\u00edm ob\u010das byly probl\u00e9my), av\u0161ak nejsou zcela bezchybn\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Zejm\u00e9na u vozidel vyroben\u00fdch na po\u010d\u00e1tku produkce se mohou objevit probl\u00e9my s rozpadaj\u00edc\u00edm se j\u00e1drem startovac\u00edho katalyz\u00e1toru. Jeho \u00falomky mohou b\u00fdt motorem nas\u00e1ty zp\u011bt p\u0159es recirkulaci spalin a zp\u016fsobit po\u0161kozen\u00ed pohonn\u00e9 jednotky (nap\u0159\u00edklad naru\u0161en\u00ed kluzn\u00e9 vrstvy v\u00e1lc\u016f, vod\u00edtek ventil\u016f, p\u0159esuvn\u00edku variabiln\u00edho \u010dasov\u00e1n\u00ed atd.). V t\u00e9to generaci se jedn\u00e1 o \u0159\u00e1dov\u011b jednotky kus\u016f a probl\u00e9m se \u010dasto projevuje p\u0159i pou\u017eit\u00ed m\u00e9n\u011b kvalitn\u00edho paliva a hlavn\u011b p\u0159i \u010dast\u00fdch j\u00edzd\u00e1ch v n\u00edzk\u00fdch ot\u00e1\u010dk\u00e1ch. Rovn\u011b\u017e zde plat\u00ed, \u017ee kr\u00e1tk\u00e9 j\u00edzdy mohou v\u00e9st k rychlej\u0161\u00edmu opot\u0159eben\u00ed motorov\u00e9ho oleje. Na druhou stranu je v\u00fdhodou \u0161estistup\u0148ov\u00e1 p\u0159evodovka u obou motor\u016f, p\u0159i\u010dem\u017e v\u011bt\u0161\u00ed motor mohl m\u00edt i automatickou variantu. U nov\u011bj\u0161\u00edch verz\u00ed by ji\u017e nem\u011bly nastat probl\u00e9my s katalyz\u00e1torem, kter\u00fd se rozpad\u00e1.
